Although overall grass fed beef is leaner, the fat content is largely determined by the cut itself. And remember fat from a pastured beef not only adds flavor but also contains much more of the good and essential fats virtually missing from today's commercially produced meats. No matter your preference - great meals can be prepared from any cut!
You may have a preferred cooking method in mind - and many times there are cuts that easily substitute for others (if we are out of stock on a particular cut).
If you prefer your steaks or roasts cut differently, we can custom cut with advance notice. We are one of the very few Grass Fed beef producers in the United States that does their own cutting and packaging - so if you don't see what you want, give us a call.
